Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution Expands South Region with Acquisition

Alliance Laundry Systems, the global leader in commercial laundry equipment, acquired the distribution assets of Star Distributing, as well as its Parts King business. Nashville, Tenn.-based Star is a leading distributor of Speed Queen vended, multi-housing, and on-premises laundry equipment.

Star will become part of the Alliance Laundry Systems Distribution South Region, while maintaining its Nashville office.

Durwood R. Davis Jr. founded the business in 1958. In 1995, its coverage area grew with the addition of Michael’s Nashville office. It increased its commitment to the industry further when Michael launched the spare parts shipping business – Parts King. Throughout the years Star has earned a number of awards for its service and finance support to customers in a variety of markets. Its coverage territory spans Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia
